Meg's not so scary ghost

Last night the kids used the colored geometric tiles to make pictures. After Meg saw Zach and I building Buzz Lightyear she created a little ghost all on her own.

She was very excited about adding in the Boo and the nose.

Zach's Buzz

Last night the kids used the colored geometric tiles to make pictures. Per the usual my little guy was all about Buzz. I helped him out a lot on the body but Zach took the lead on the face and buzzes weaponry. Our Buzz comes fully loaded with laser blasters and light swords.

We went to the Niki in the Garden exhibit at the Garfield Park Conservatory with some family visiting from way out of town. Both Meg and Zach had a great time running around and climbing on all the sculptures. This was the perfect art exhibit for Zach because it was art he could touch, climb and in many cases jump off.

The only trauma came when he slipped in the mud next to a lion sculpture. He didn't like that and let us all know. Click the picture below for a slideshow.

Studies in Light

While we were at the DuPage Children's Museum Zach had a lot of fun playing with an interactive light display. He would turn the knobs and it would turn up and down that color of light. It seemed like his favorite color was purple
